Trapped within a wooden birdcage, 200 rice LEDs on copper wire entangle two gold-leaf embellished pocket-size books. Photos show a first installation directly fixed to a ceiling and a second installation suspended as a pendant.

Alien Salad
A used wooden salad bowl lined gold-metal leaf orbits three hand-hammered, acid etched and engraved aluminum armatures, three ceramic E26 sockets and three 11" long vintage style 40-watt incandescent bulbs. The pendant hangs on stainless steel cable, and vintage style red-rayon wrapped electrical wire lazily ascends the cable to the engraved and etched aluminum ceiling plate.
